Sterling silver signet ring engraved with the lion rampant from the ancient Scottish flag, and flanked on either side by Scottish thistles. Symbolising victory, the Scottish lion is shown as upright and 'rampant', whereas the thistles are legendary in Scottish history as 'the flower of Scotland'.
